We booked as do so many, with no first hand experience of the site, simply keeping fingers crossed. It is, as the title says - lovely. That counts for the character of the place and the character of the owners who are pouring love and commitment into their new home in France on this site. Fresh eggs appeared, and a drink on arrival. It is growing and developing around you - a new home made fence appeared one morning - a chicken escaped and was herded back to it's pen one evening. For sure it is quiet, but if you like some gentle walks along quiet lanes near the site - if you're en route somewhere and fancy a break for a night or two............. the site is, as the title says, lovely. Simple as that.

En camping-car avec 2 jeunes enfants nous avons été très bien reçus. Nous avons pu nous reposer et profiter de la tranquillité et du charme du camping. Jonathon et Bernice sont des hôtes très sympathiques. Nous gardons un magnifique souvenir de cette étape.

Lovely overnight stop in a peaceful setting, great hot shower’s and very friendly owners , appreciated the beer on arrival.

Lovely site, great owners, offered a drink of our choice which was much appreciated, nice cold beers after a warm drive up from the south, Jon and Berni really make you feel welcome. We will be returning in the future.

Un superbe petit camping paisible dans un endroit calme et paisible, un havre de paix. Merci beaucoup pour ce chaleureux accueil et bienveillant. Nous avons passé un agréable week end. Nous vous souhaitons un merveilleux avenir et une belle réussite. Nous reviendrons sans hésité.

Wonderful camping with lovely ( new) owners.
We arrived today ( March 4 2024) and were welcomed like we were regular visitors. Bernice showed us around and we got a nice welcome drink.
Later that evening I had a wonderful conversation with Jon.
He reconstructed the showers, toilets and the office in a wonderful way.
We will return for sure next time!

A peaceful place with a very warm welcome from Bernie, Jon and Gus. We can can only repeat what others have said recently and would not hesitate to return. Both Poppy and Basil loved the dog field and Gus if not the weather at the end of Feb. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you all again.

We stopped here on our way from Spain back to Finland.
We were greeted very warmly with a welcome drink. Place was very peaceful and there was spacious pitches. Showers and toilets were very clean.
Lovely place and hugely recommend Camping Le Paradis!
