A breath of fresh air! Superb stop over for us on the way to Spain, we would have extended our stay if we had more time. Large pitches and immaculately kept site.

What a great find, we stayed for 3 days at this campsite, I wish we could have stayed longer. Peace and quiet, deserted country lanes, ideal for walking/running, cycling. Facilities were spotless, roomy pitches, plenty of space to spread yourself about. Jon and Berni fantastic hosts, nothing too much trouble. Gus the dog, a star, take some biscuits.

Having returned here after an absence of circa 5 years, (the absence wasn't my choice) I find it a truly relaxing and pleasant atmosphere now. I intended to use it as an overnight stop on way to Spain but have stayed 4 nights which says something about the hosts Bernie and John. Very welcoming and very hospitable. I shall certainly make more use of this campsite in the future. Thank you both for a pleasant stay

J'ai fait étape pour une nuit au camping Le Paradis. J'ai été très gentiment accueilli, c'est très appréciable ! L'espace pour ma tente était très grand, propre. Les sanitaires sont impeccables et en hiver, c'est très confortable d'avoir des pièces fermées.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Berni qui nous a donné toutes les indications quant au fonctionnement du camping. Les chiens sont la bienvenue et un immense espace leur est réservé.
Les sanitaires sont fonctionnels et agréables, et tous les services pour notre fourgon était disponibles.
En résumé, c’est un endroit calme et tranquille où il fait bon de s’arrêter pour une nuit comme nous ou pour rester plus longtemps si besoin.
Au top ! Merci beaucoup Berni et Jon, et caresse à Gus.

Ein sehr ruhiger und wunderschöner Campingplatz, hier fühlt man sich absolut willkommen und irgendwie vom ersten Augenblick an "zu Hause". Die Betreiber sprechen Englisch und Französisch, und sind absolut herzlich. Zur Ankunft bekamen wir gleich ein kostenloses Getränk angeboten.

Die Sanitär Räume sind liebevoll dekoriert und ausreichend vorhanden.
Die Duschen sind inklusive und können auch wirklich heiß eingestellt werden.

Jede Parzelle hat Stromanschluß (16A) und es gibt auch Komfort Plätze mit Strom, Wasser und Abwasser auf der Parzelle.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ausreichend in der Nähe

Es gibt eine Spielwiese für Hunde, auf der man auch die wunderschöne Aussicht genießen kann.

Ein Gemüsegarten und die eigenen Hühner sorgen für das leibliche Wohl.

Having recently returned from our first camping van adventure in France with my wife and two teenage boys, I feel compelled to write a review for Berni and Jon and the site that they are running and rebuilding for themselves. We booked Le Paradis via the CAMC and from the moment we entered the site, we were made to feel welcome with complementary beer and wine and given the choice of huge pitches. More than enough room for my van and a 4m Glawning! The toilet and shower facilities are amoungst the best I’ve come across on any campsite. More akin to your own bathroom than camping shower blocks. Wonderfully quiet at night with big dark skies if you’re into your stargazing and a short drive from Limoges, Angoulême and Oradour-sur-Glane. We only stayed a couple of nights but will definitely revisit and stay longer next time. Thank you Berni and Jon, next time I’ll make sure the boys bring a paint brush 😜

On our way to the Basque Country we stayed at Camping Le Paradis for one night, we had found the campground through Park4Night.
We arrived early evening after a long day on the road, and what a very friendly warm welcome by Berni, she showed us our pitch and walked us to all the facilities.
The campground is great, surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful. At night you can hear the owls "awesome", there is even a fenced in area for dogs to run around, simply great. The pitches are big and the facilities are super nice and clean. You think you are in your own bathroom at home, very nicely done.
John & Berni are simply great people and so helpful with anything you need.
Sadly we stayed only one night, but we are certain we will return for a longer stay!

This is the best site we have ever found. We were in France for 8 weeks on our wonderings with car and caravan, we found the site in the CAMC European Holidays book while on our trip and booked 8 nights through Le Paradis web site. This was the first big plus the web site works (so many do not) the web site is simple and very easy to use, so many are overcomplicated.
On arrival mid afternoon the most lovely welcome, park up and let me show you your pitch from Berni and when you are set up come and have a complementary welcome drink. The pitch very generous in size Caravan, large Sun Canopy and still space for the car. The facilities are outstanding not just in function and cleanliness but with so many little touches, flowers, pictures and proper hand towels, with great showers and NO button to keep pressing. The site is set in beautiful countryside so peaceful and quiet with loads of bird life including a woodpecker, often heard but we did see it and owls in the evening swooping by our pitch. There are some great walks on quiet lanes if you are in need of a little exercise. As indicated we had booked for 8 nights BUT after 3 nights we asked if we could add on another 7 nights so we stayed for 15 nights and it was a great stay peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Berni, Jon and of course not forgetting Gus the dog are fantastic hosts who passionately want to share (we are lucky they do) their gem, their piece of Paradise "Le Paradis" We hope all continues to go well for you with continued success and the very best of luck.

We spent a lovely weekend here. Jonny and Bernice are fantastic hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome. The site is small and well kept with both (good sized) hard-standing and grass pitches. The site is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The sanitaires are clean and beautifully presented as, private shower rooms with a toilet, basin and shower. We will definitely return when we revisit the area.
