On arrival we were met with a warm and friendly welcome from Berni, we selected our pitch, which was a really good size and well kept and then joined Berni for a welcome drink, which was a nice touch.
The facilities were really well kept and spotlessly clean and we were never waiting to use a loo or shower.
Later in the day we met Jon and Gus the dog, who is a real character.
This site is highly recommended and so quiet, we only stayed for one night as we were travelling but wished we stayed for longer, we will definitely return at some point for a longer time.

Sehr schöner Ort mit super netten Leuten.

On our arrival, we were greeted with a warm & enthusiastic welcome from Berni, Jon & of course the adorable Gus.
Le Paradis is a beautiful rustic site in the French countryside, it has clean and comfortable facilities, & large pitches divided by hedges.
It has a wonderful peacefulness about the site, you cannot help but relax.
When we weren’t relaxing, we enjoyed cycling to the local lakes and villages, recommended by Berni, pedalling across the rolling countryside, on the quiet roads and gravel tracks guided by Google maps.
When we left, we felt we were leaving old friends and promised to return …… and we will.
Thank you to Gus and the team for a wonderful 4 nights at Le Paradis, our favourite campsite so far.

What a lovely site. We stayed for 3 nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The showers/toilets were spotless and pitches a good size. Boris our Labrador enjoyed running around the enclosed field. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area 😊

What a perfect location! Fabulous position for exploring this beautiful area, but also a perfectly located overnight stopover for anyone travelling to or from Spain or Portugal. Stayed here four years ago when the current owners , John and Bernie ,were In the throws of purchasing the site which at the time I thought , though well established, was in need of some TLC. Having returned this week we found plenty of evidence that it is now receiving that. These very friendly and helpful owners have installed new electric pick- up points on most pitches now with completion due later this year. The toilets, showers and wash rooms have been completely refurbished and are maintained to a high standard. All of the hedges which surround every pitch are well trimmed regularly and there are adequate disposal bins throughout the site. Although this is a very quiet and peaceful country site there is no shortage of things to see and do in the area, including historical chateaux, beautiful villages and lakes with recreational activities.Thank you John and Bernie for the free drinks and chat on our arrival, all new arrivals can expect this, and for making us so welcome once again, we shall be back !! This is one of the best campsites we have stayed in France. It is beautifully set out with generous individual sites. The toilet facilities are second to none, offering individual bathrooms, very clean and well kept. Berni and John are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble, very knowledgeable about the area. For a really peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful countryside, this is the place. Will return.

Amazing find. Was planning to head further south but stayed extra days as so tranquil. Best nearby sights ee found were La Rochelle and Lac de Haute Charante and also the incredibly poignant Orador Sur Glane. Facilities clean and well maintained. No problems at all, totally recommend. Would uoad photos but files too big for website.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, mitten in der Natur zum Entschleunigen und Entspannen. Sehr familiäre, herzliche und hundefreunliche Gastgeber. Top gepflegter Platz und tiptop saubere sanitäre Anlage. Trotz unserer späten Ankunft, Samstagabend um 20:30 Uhr wurden wir herzlichst mit einem Willkommensdrink empfangen. So nett!

Wir waren auf unserer Heimreise für eine Nacht hier. Ein sehr sauberer und ruhiger Platz in einer tollen Landschaft. Die Gastgeber sind aufmerksam und herzlich, wir kommen gerne wieder.

der Platz ist einfach bezaubernd. Unsere sehr freundlichen Gastgeber Berni&Jon bieten Begrüssungsgetränk, Hängematte, saubere, heisse Dusche, gute Gespräche, Idyll im Grünen, Auslauf für Mensch und Tier. Eine tolle Atmosphäre. Waren auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht. Nächstes Mal bleiben wir definitiv länger hier.
